A Month of Innovation, Connections, and Industry Milestones
What an incredible month it has been for Springfield NE Ltd — from north to south and everywhere in between!
We kicked things off with an unforgettable two days at the Manufacturing & Supply Chain Conference & Exhibition in Glasgow. A special thanks to Festo for the Tunnock’s Tea Cakes, which made our team’s first visit extra special. Glasgow truly knows how to make visitors feel welcome with its warmth and hospitality.
It was fantastic to connect with so many attendees who stopped by our stand (C02) for a chat and a cupcake. Meeting passionate professionals driving the future of manufacturing was genuinely inspiring. We’d also like to extend our gratitude to Premier Publishing & Events Ltd for their outstanding support in organizing such a successful event.
Next on our journey, our team visited Komatsu UK Ltd for the North East Automotive Alliance members event. Touring their factory was a brilliant experience, and it was exciting to see our work in action throughout their facilities.
The following day, we headed to London to meet both new and returning customers. These discussions focused on bespoke automated machinery designed to enhance manufacturing capabilities, and the energy and enthusiasm were palpable.
Our team also attended Advanced Engineering UK at the NEC Birmingham and the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) Regional Networking Event in Leeds. These events provided fantastic opportunities to explore innovations shaping the future of engineering and manufacturing while connecting with key industry leaders.
Meanwhile, back home, Springfield NE Ltd has been working at full throttle — designing, programming, assembling, and delivering intricate machine components, production parts, manual handling solutions, and bespoke automation machinery across the UK. If you’ve spotted one of our vans on the road, that’s us bringing solutions directly to industry sites — turning ideas into reality, one project at a time.
We’re also thrilled to announce that we’ve officially joined the North East Regional Defence and Security Cluster (NERDSC) as a Full Member. This platform offers incredible opportunities to collaborate, share ideas, and contribute to the future of a rapidly evolving industry. We look forward to engaging with fellow members and applying our expertise to tackle real-world challenges together.
It has been a busy month, but seeing our projects come to life and connecting with so many inspiring people makes every moment worthwhile. Being an innovation-focused business means there’s always something exciting on the horizon, and this month has been a perfect example of that.
